hi
Hi all. I'm from Chicago suburbia. used to ride a Specialized mountain bike with drop bars, before the term hybrid was coined. After crashing and damaging the bke, I had a good reason to get a new bike. I opted for a Giant Cypress DX. After about 2-3 years with it, I'm thinking I need to look at getting a road bike for those longer rides. So, it looks like a wide variety of people on this site, so I thought what the heck, and here I am.

Bikes: old FS Elite 6-Convertible? (looked cool and old in a flea market - so I traded in my mountain bike)

I wonder if you were adopted by a loving family early on-- you wouldn't have turned out to be such a super villain.
No, really, welcome to the forum. i have what is called a hybrid but it's really more of a touring bike-- i'm starting to feel the need to get a road bike-- i feel like it would be much easier to go faster and it wouldn't feel so heavy on climbs.
