Is this bike worth the price. Klein Mantra
Hi again, again a question if "this bike is worth it" It's an auction. What would be the max you would pay for it?
The reserve is $695. Should I get it or wait? (FYI thanks on before on the Klein Pulse Hardtail, I didn't get it )

It's a good bike for general trail riding and it OK to race. MY dad has one and i've seen people racing on them. For $700 it's not too bad of a deal

Is it aluminum. If so some aluminum's (depending on rank of the material) have a short half life. That is getting on 4 years soon. While the parts seem ok I probably wouldn't do it. The aluminum could be weak in some spots.

Wow, I wish I had seen this. The Mantra rear triangle was redesigned twice. The first design was prone to cracking near the pivot, the second where the dérailleur hanger bolted on. If you bought this bike, find the nearest Klein dealer and start buying him/her lunch.
