Back in the saddle again....after 6 wks!

Hi folks--
I just wanted to share with those who will understand. Over July 4th weekend, I tore a bunch of ligaments and tendons in the back of my right hand and I had surgery and am just now getting back on the bike (against DRs orders...shhhhhh!). It feels SOOOOOO good to be riding again. Never knew how much I'd miss it!

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

nope...silly thing, really....I was "flicking" one of those snap 'n' pop firecracker things and that "flicking" motion resulted in the ligaments ripping and the tendon on the back of my middle finger falling into the space between my middle and ring finger. Surgeon said it happens all the time to folks.
