Frozen Pedal(s)?
Hey bike docs,
I just trashed a clipless pedal i've had on my bike for ~2 seasons and can't get it off of the crank. I've tried some serious force, but no luck yet. Have any tips/ideas that might get my pedal off the crank, I'd love to hear them. Thanks in advance.

Use a pedal wrench, better leverage. Put the force *backward* (toward real wheel).
Or if you do not have pedal wrench, utilize 15mm open end wrench and slip a piece of pipe over end of wrench to extend the leverage.

Get a friend to pour boiling water over the end of the crank while you lean on the wrench. Aluminum expands more than steel when heated.
Before you install your new pedals, put antisieze paste on the threads.
