silly question (prolly)
I have a khs cruiser with single speed and was wondering if I change the front chainring will it be easier to peddle ?? I'm only considering this as I have just had surgery on a leg and its going to take ages before its back to full strength ( motorcycle accident and nasty looking leg too )

Yes.
Actually, either a smaller chain ring or a larger sprocket on the rear wheel will make pedalling easier as it lowers your gearing.

you will also have to add/take off a few links to make the chain work with different gearing. just something to think about.

If you have limited movement of the knees a shorter crank will also be easier. I switched the cranks on my wife's bike from 170 mm long to 152 mm because she has arthritis.
