Prophet 600 or Klein Palemino

My friend is trying to decide between a Prophet 600 that he would pay 1600 for or a Klien Palemino (retails for about 3k) that he would pay for 1800 on sale for from a different bike shop. 1600 was his top end but it just makes a bunch of sense to spend the extra 200 and get so much more. He had his mind set on the Prophet until he ran into the Klien deal. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Palamino... the Maverick rear suspension is the best thing out there. Be aware the two bikes are a bit different though, the Pal is going to be a little more XC than the Prophet.

He dragged his a$$ on the palemino and at that price it sold quickly. He is most likely going to pick up the prophet soon. I told him so
