I've seen their ads, but never seen anyone carrying their product.

I did however repair a bike with a set of these brakes on them. They didn't work as well as most vee-brakes. For what it's worth, stick with the Avids or the Hayes Mechanicals, sure they're a little bit more initially, but it'll save you a big headache down the road.

My question for you is, "Why do you want to upgrade to discs?"

Do you really need them, or just think they're cool?

Most vee-brakes work great for about 95% of mtn bikers.

Discs evolved in the DH scene where rim brakes would heat up and fade (i.e. no brakes by the time they got to the bottom).

If you doing a lot of DH or ride in extremely muddy conditions, then get discs. If not, I'd suggest sticking with vee-brakes.

If you just want them because they are a cool upgrade. Believe me I can definately empathize with you - did I mention I have discs on my bike? and "NO" I don't "NEED" them. I'd save a little more money and buy a better disc brake.
