When you're posting important information on your favorite discussion forum
(BikeForums.com), what is your favorite beer to drink?
On a related topic, do you think it's wise to drink while posting? Do you ever
have to re-read your posts the next day to make sure they aren't ridiculous,
or have silly errors? Does drinking impair your ability to communicate clearly
or to invent believable stories? Do you ever lose friends on BikeForums due
to bad judgement or profane language used while under the influence?
Have you ever been banned from BikeForums.com for lewd suggestions, or
for trying to entice a Sumo wrestler?
If so, there may be help for you. Joe is starting a new "safe" forum for
drinking and posting, sort of like a rubber room for, well, you know. Be on
the lookout for it (but try to stay sober until you find it, we really are trying
to cut down on drunk posting in this forum).

Whatever's in the fridge. I get home from work, bike commute of course, pop a cold one, put on my soundtrack of Saturday Night Fever, and boot up my computer. Ah ah ah ah Staying Alive, Staying Alive.

Something nice and bitter, like an IPA. Victory Hop Devil, Magic Hat Blind Faith. Doesn't interfere w/ my ability to post, but sometimes I find I'm online longer than I intended!

I try to avoid surfing under the influence...mainly because I only have internet access at work and if I were to be indulging, you would probably see a quick end to my posts.
But when I am off work I like to head for the Northwoods and enjoy an ice cold Leinenkugel's.

I drink a locally brewed beer called AlleyKat Gold. It's my favourite beer after a ride. Other than that it's Guiness.

I can't seem to find it locally. Maybe next time I'm in Springfield...
I actually used to drink Miller Lite but switched to Millwaukee's Best Lite, (Made by Miller too), because I couldn't tell the difference in taste and it was only 8.79 a case. They just raised it to 10.79 a case though.
Must be petroleum based...

Servus!
Ahhh! I could almost smell the golden cider while reading Buddy's post! There is not much in the way of liquid refreshment that can compare with a crisp, ice-cold pint of Strongbow.
I don't surf (most likely because Greenpeace shows up and tries to roll me back into the water when I lie on the beach) but if I did, I would have to say that Strongbow would be the choice for surfing for me.

My favorite drink is tequila. Any time, any place. I do need all of the ancillary apparatus to go along with the shots ie: lemon, not lime, and salt. If I'm feeling frisky, I blend up a margarita.
But tequila, yes definitely.
