this is rideable, they put a new black round rail in.

They took all those little planters out and put a flat rail where that guy is.

The slabs of concrete from the planters were used to make ledges scattered throughout the area.

The animal grind box is still there, and there is always wood on those 10 stairs to 360 up or whatever.

there is also a sub-box on the bank that has been there for years.

the bank to wallride had a lightpole in front of it, but they removed it, but there is a little hole where it was. nothing to worry about. there is also a nice flat bank to wall on the other side, and you can see corey martinez hit it on road fools 14

If you go to brooklyn, don't make eye contact with anybody. You are white, and you might know about Americas past , with all the segragation. These poor people in these ghettos of brooklyn are extremely ignorant, and they hate all white people. If you tell them you are from Africa, they would rob you/ kick your ass. Don't trust anybody here and carry a knife

actually, about the parks thing. if you see a bunch of "shady" kids sitting around in the park which you will see, they might not want you screwing around in there. you may thnk the whole turf thing is over, nope. i once saw some kids get messed up by hockey sticks becasue they came into these kids park and wouldnt leave.

dont want to get you scared, you will prob make it out alive

thanks for the heads up but as some of you might know, South Africa went through a really long time of segregation, or Apartheid as it was called here. i'm too young to remember any of it, but i was alive towards the ending stages of it. i often ride in the ghettos here, which we call townships, and i have been okay so far. i have been beat up once or twice and threatened, but i handled it okay. i have a mate from Brooklyn who was studying here in South Africa, and i took him to with me on a session one day cuz he wanted pics of BMXers for some assignment, and we got the blazes kicked out of us. he reckons our townships are pretty close to brooklyn ghettos as far as aggression goes. but there are always ways to stay outa trouble.

best time to visit the banks is in August you'll probably get to ride in the next animal jam. I was told this whip is on the newly released shook video.

He's coming up man, he's already in a video, and you can see him in the first animal jam where he falls doing a 25+ ft 180.
