Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

potentially pointless decadence.

So I just laid down some serious cash money on a pair of Assos Therma x gloves. I have never tended to buy cheap stuff, but this is by far the most rediculous item I have bought.

I can't really say how warm they are yet (since its in the 50s) but I can say they way they contour to your hand is "almost" worth the money.

Assos makes some nice stuff, I think you'll be pretty happy with them in a couple days when it's cold again.

Worth every penny ... just don't lose them because you will buy a second pair. Unless it is 40 or below my hands get super sweaty in them.
