got my brakes today!!!

i came home from barnes and noble. and what did i find on my steps??? a package!

i bought a set of hayes nine carbons for $175 on ebay about a week ago. i just got back from installing the levers and calipers. the lever design feels great. and they are alot lighter then my other ones(sigh of relief). some pics should be on here in a couple minutes. =) i love new stuff =)

they were used. i can tell from the pads, and there is a scratch or two on the calipers. but that is it. otherwise, look brand new.

no i didnt get them from David.

i cant wait to get them out on the trail!

Nice brakes. That's something I could go for. Just have Mechanicals right now. But Avid BB5 Levers with Hayes HFX-9 Caliper and Rotors. But Nice Brakes!

Cool brakes. Wonder what the replacement cost is for one of those levers?

Toast-the discs themselves are compatible, as are most. The thickness is pretty standard, as is the diameter.
