Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Riding in the Moscone Lot (SF)

Has anyone here spent time tooling around in the underground Moscone lot? Is it always open? This empty? Security problems? I didn't even know it was there. Thanks for the info!

Some picts a friend took during the last SF CM.

Looks so fun and smooth!

when we rode around during cm, we got kicked out pretty quick. It was way fun, it was like a reward for showing up when it was hella rainy and windy and dark. We got the boot before I could find my camera in my bag.

I like to ride the Metreon lot from top to bottom after the metreon closes, lot's of fun, only two blocks from home. Never been in the Moscone lot even though it's closer...

"Metreon lot"? Where is that?
Have you ever ridden in the 5th and Mission Garage?

We used to practice roller hockey in a parking garage down in San Bruno...it was for the Post Office..got chased off by "federal marshalls"..they suggested we never return...
