Score!!-lbs fire sale
So today I went to a fire sale for a recently burned lbs in my town. I wasn't expecting much, just a few odds and ends. I got there and started looking around and WOW, what deals. I ended up spending around 60 bucks. Here is what I got:
CyclePro Rack Trunk-a little dirty from the soot-----------$1
Sunlite Handlebar bag-not quite as dirty as above, but.... $1
Shimano 600 Ultegra brake levers(probably my best find), brand new, original packaging $3
Shimano 600 Canti brakes, brand new, original package------$3
Onguard heavy duty U lock-----------$3
Shimano 42/32/22 crank, a little soot, otherwise new------------$15
Phil Tenacious oil/Tri flow--------------a dollar a piece
sigma bc 1200 computer(measures cadence!)---------------$5
Deore XT brake pads-----------2 sets, 4 bucks each
4 led headlight.....................$2
Plus a new bb, chain, & freewheel among other things. The deals were amazing though! And all the stuff was practically brand new. Amazing deals.
Just thought I'd share.

You sure you didn't start that fire?
Sounds like a great deal, though. Most likely, the lbs had insurance to cover the loss of all this, so for them, this could be the icing on the burned cake for them.... they located in DC?

The good thing is that the fire actually started in the building next to it and so most of the stuff inside the shop was fine, just smoke and water damage. But the building it self was damaged. One thing I forgot to mention was some brand new Yakima bike racks...4 of them for 20 bucks each. Regularly 85. Could make some nice turnaround on those
Anyays, I am actually in WA state...Aberdeen is where they are. But they weren't my lbs of choice. There is one in the next town over I tend to frequent
