Another outdoor ride! (or Linda's Birthday Ride)
I can't believe the weather we've been seeing here in MN this winter. 33 today and breezy, but it was good enough to attempt riding Linda's age. Today is her birthday - she's 42 (thank goodness she's a youngster), and we were thinking wouldn't it be great to be able to ride her age on her birthday?
Well, by gosh, the weather cooperated and we did it.
I also notice that a lot of your have been able to get out and enjoy some seasonably warm temperatures too. Don't know if this global warming or just a cycle (no pun intended) of some sort, but we'll take it.
Take care everyone!
Steve

Hey, great ride for you and the birthday girl!!!
I had the pleasure of taking my longest ride of the year myself today, 58 miles on my hybrid no less, which is very good for me. Sometimes pretty warm, but when going into the wind, brrrrrrrrrr.
Hope you guys had a special dinner and lots of good old birthday cake.

First of all, Happy Birthday, Linda!
Second, nice ride, you guys! And you too, KeithA! You guys are getting some serious miles there. I had to settle for five miles today because it rained. Maybe I can get a good long ride in tomorrow.
Anyway -- good ride stories, keep 'em coming!

Come on Linda- Get a pseudonym and start posting, you may have have your age disclosed ( didn't think you were supposed to do that to girls) but you can give the other side of as a partner of a 50+er. Well done on your ride, and to be quite honest- I could not have done it at 39 and a bit. It took another 5 years before I was up to that milage.
On the weather side-- We have severe droughts in the south of England with resoirvoirs only 1/3 full. Don't believe it with the amount of rain we have had since October, but that is what they keep telling us. Point is Wednesday night is a night ride and it is going to start raining at 3am--for 24 hours. At least the trails will be cleaned of mud.
