-only differences now is that the front fork has a red fade from the dropouts and the stays have a silver fade from the dropouts to about half way up the stays to try and cover up the fact that i have 2 differnt colored wheels.
-also it has a gatorskin on the front now.
-2 different crank arms
-700c in the back, 27x1 1/4 in the front
-matte black garage paint job with copper leaf highlights
-currently has drops from my fuji track on it
-suicide hub with lots of red locktite
-45x15 with the other outer chainring still attached
-braze ons left on, some are taped over with gaffers tape now

i think some of you missed the fact that these were supposed to be CRAP conversions!! Not nice conversions that just happen to not be track bikes...
I will have a pic of mine up soon.

generic univega, mis matched deore/biopace cranks, rusted original brake on front
ancient tubular rims with cheapest tubies I could find.
generic pre-aero aluminum brake levers
Generic quil adapter since I dont have a quill stem, generic Giant adjustable stem, generic Nashbar 15 dollar handlebars.
generic seatpost with electrical tape to "shim" it to correct size
generic Giant gel seat
rusted/peeling origianl headset

alex rims
shimano front hub, ENO rear
Deda stem
serfas tires
kalloy seat post
old Shimano 600 cranks
shimano pedals (?)
cinelli bars

looking at this now i wish i still had it but my new build drained me of cash and this stuff had to go.

Oh hells ya. Here's White Sputter:

I equate a good beater to having sex with one of my college roommates. She was a farmgirl from Texas who walked like the terminator (Arnold, not Kristanna) and made pizzas with canned pork. I'm assuming if she ever wanted to have sex with someone she's just throw them against a wall and say, "Alright, let's get to this." In that sense, a good beater doesn't have time for any of that "bling" or even "matching crank arms" nonesense - it's too busy getting **** done.

am i the only one who rides a crappy, ugly looking conversion? all the ones that have been posted are rather nice looking, i think the point of this post was to get everybody's ugliest mismatched conversison out of the closet and take a picture of it.

a few paint chips isn't ugly, just wear and tear. lbthomps sexually confused bike is pretty ugly...(no offense)

The guy who I got the campy cranks from was aghast that I put them on a conversion. My old conversion is soon to be long gone, and the campy cranks have moved onto a real track bike.
