Keepin' those toes warm...
If you're looking for some shoes to keep the ol' toes from freezing, and you don't do clipless in the winter, I can strongly recommend these. I picked 'em up at a REI's recent winter clearance.
I've had them out down around 17F, with a 9F wind chill. Normally that would have been a two-pairs-of-socks day and my toes would still have been numb, but I only wore one pair and was just slightly chilly after a 55-minute commute in these shoes. Totally windproof. They're also billed as waterproof, but I haven't tested that yet...
