Greatings from England

Hello everyone, Just purchased a Dawes Galaxy & am in the process of equiping it for a ride through Canada next year. Next on the list is my panniers !

Commuted to work on an old Peurgeot for over 5 years, (off & on), generally lapse in the summer months though !

Suppose I fall into the touring catagory (or insane)

Thanks for the info so far

Mick

Welcome to BikeForums Mick.

I have a friend who owns a mid-80s Peugeot. Said he doesn't need a new bike since it never gives him any problems.
There's a lot to be said for some of the older bikes.

Welcome Mick. The Galaxy is a class act. Great touring bike. I'm sure you'll find this forum useful too.

Welcome Mick from another brit
What part of the country are you from?
Nice to try and mentally picture your riding habitat. City Town or countryside?
