..run one red tire rear, one black front.
Looks hideous.
I got a really good deal, bought one XC front tire for 25$, the second -owner tossed in for $10.
Both were singles, I don't run the same size or tread F\R, the tread and size were perfect both.

I didn't consider how bad it would look.
Doesn't help my bike frame is all black except the seattube -which is red.
The tires are not even true red, more the color of grandmas cheap lipstick-fuschia\pink\red.

Panaracer FireMudPro -they are truly ugly tires.

I might go buy one set of red koolstops for the front black tire -just to keep ugly as a theme.

I used non-matching touch up paint on my main commuter bike so that it looks less desirable.

I’ve had two Cannondale mountain bikes built as commuter bikes stolen – one in 2002 and the other in 2003. The second one was the nicest commuter bike I’ve ever seen… I’m convinced that that was its downfall – it looked too good. I won’t make that mistake again. You can’t use a good-looking bike as a commuter and leave it locked up routinely in a city like Atlanta – it will get pinched… it’s only a matter of time.

I have a nice commuter rig. I have nice locks. Even more important: I'm quite selective about where I park it.

Most of the time, that's the best way for mountain biking: mis match tires.

Actually I can't stop staring at it....it's really an eyesore now.
This is kinda backfired -I try to make my bike less noticable\ugly.

Now it looks like a cheap @$$ booty call from the corner.
And I know -as I ride around, everyone who sees me thinks -'what an ugly red tire!'

....I think having two of them would be WORSE!

Ugly matched is not better, unless it's your sister.

Imagine the bike frame is flat black, fork too -with a red seattube\red rear tire.

Nice looking bike and photo composition.
You decorate like I do, bike parts\tools\art.

Well, I just got the bike back yesterday from the frame replacement. Currently the colors of the bike are kinda random, but I'll settle on some type of color scheme.
