See Saw Weather
It's that time of year again. On Monday, I rode to work in 26F. I wore insulated tights, a face mask, AmFib gloves with over-mittens, and a nylon shell over UnderArmour ColdGear on the way to work.
On the way home, it was in the 57 or 58F. I wore shorts, glove liners under summer cycling gloves, and the ColdGear without the shell.
Winter in the morning, Spring in the afternoon. You gotta love it.

Do I have to love it? I have been riding with big panniers and extra clothes, or space to put clothes. The other day I took out my raincoat and put it on a fence post to get to clothing underneath. Two days later I could not find my rain coat. Thinking that I rode off and left it there, I bought another one. Last night as I picked up a pile of laundry I found the old raincoat. They say the mind is the first thing to go.....
