I have had 2 Nyquist models (Backtrail X3 and a Backtrail X1) Im a fan.

But i also have to admit i have destroyed 3 of the 4 wheels that came with the two bikes....

The only one that lasted was the front wheel from my X1...

I ride a '05 Nyquist pro

Everyone around my town and the neighboring towns hate it becuase its a haro. I could careless though, I bought it for me not them and it holds up for me. By the way, I dont think theres much love for any haro models, atleast around here there aint. I personally like it.

*note: I now have my stock cut down 2pc bars back on and no brakes*

I get the same thing around here, most people after saying you have a Haro, think less of your bike, but there frames are pretty good (at least the full 4130 ones are).

Oh god, lost another to the no-brake-revolution

What's wrong with that? It kicks ass to run into each other and run over skateboarders!

well actaully I ran no brakes, then i decided to give straight cable a try, i didn't like it so i went back to no brakes. The skateboarders are atleast moving targets most of the time, the problem is the little kids who always happen to be riding up the landing of the jumps at a skatepark when ever your in the air. Many close calls with little kids. Or when skaters decide to put the grind rail across the bottom of the landing when your not paying attention. Most of the time you can avoid a collision without brakes, i can stop beter with out them. I just put my feet down or in the back tire.
