Dented Frame
I recently found a Trek 7300 LX in the local clean-up and the frame has a dent in the downtube, the paint isn't chipped but it has a 1 inch dent, is it safe to ride it like this, and if so how do i get the dent out. It seems like it would be a great commuting bike.

Surface dent? How deep? A one inch dent on the surface is nothing. Upwards of halfway through the frame and I wouldn't want it.

It's going to be next to impossible to get a dent out of an aluminum frame in a safe manner.
