Is there anything worse than a rainy Sunday?
Is there anything worse than working Mon-Saturday, busting your a** all week, having a freshly cleaned and lubed bike, and then nothing but rain in the forecast for Sunday?

I'd have to go with a cold and rainy Saturday and Sunday.

That's why I have a "rain bike". Mine is an early-80's lugged steel frame Trek that I treated the tube interiors with Frame Saver, built up with leftover parts and fitted with full fenders. I don't have to worry about damaging my good bikes or wearing out expensive components.

We have rain forecast every day through next Sunday. I'm beginning to feel like I'm in the Pacific NW.

yea, maybe. Like having a perfect day but having a family obligation that'll keep you from riding.
We have had generally cool but decent weather here in new england, big lack of snow this winter and its been a loooooonnnnnnnngggggg time since we've been had a monsoon season like we're into right now
north of Boston theres some big rivers cresting - as of last night - it may be above flood stage now.
" happy mothers day "

*raises hand* I know what's worse. Not being able to ride at all because of a pulled back muscle. I'm glad it's raining because it gives me an excuse NOT to ride, and relax and recover.

Checked the weather Friday. Columbus had 45 degrees and pouring. Saturday was 57 degrees and pouring in places. Haven't checked today, yet.
Meanwhile, north of Richmond I got out on the road about 0930 this morning, got back at 1145 just as the first raindrops were coming down.
Pissed that I didn't do TOSRV, but 200 miles in the rain isn't my idea of fun on a motorcycle, much less a bicycle.

I decided I needed to ride and it wasn't that bad. Mist/drizzle for the first 10 miles or so, pretty heavy rain for the next 5, and sunny the rest of the way home. Looks like it's about to rain some more now. Pretty good stuff...it's all about the right clothes and the fixie did a nice job today.

Hey, go for a ride in the rain, as long as you can do it on safe roads. Initially its hard to get yourself out on the bike when it pissing, but after a while, its kind of refreshing, exhilirating. Just take it easy going around corners.

Yeah, how about being stuck in Dallas for recurrent training and missing the wife's B'day and Mother's day and no bike to boot.

I don't let rain stop me from riding. If the weather is stormy - lightning, super strong wind gusts, debris flying around - I don't go out. Otherwise, for me, it's just water.

What's worse then a rainy Sunday? A rainy Sunday without your significant other.
