Idaho

Yes, we road bike in Idaho, I am a cat 3 and master racer who really loves riding my bike. I started racing mountain bikes in calif and everyone said you should train on a road bike so i bought a trek 2300 (purple and black) and found out I was a better road racer than mtb and was one of the founding racers on Team Redlands. It is really hard to be in Idaho in the winter as we have about 2' of snow on the ground and my cross bike is on the trainer. I X-country ski to stay in shape but it is not the same as my Quattro Assi alu-carbonio.

Hey, welcome to the forums!

I thought about moving to Idaho a couple of years back, then I read how cold it gets there! Coming from Florida, I quickly changed my mind. SNOW???? What's that? J/K.

We drove through Idaho, and it was spectacular! And I thought I'd see nothing but potato farms. (I imagine you hear that a lot!).

Welcome to the forums! I'm in Utah, I went to a job interview in Twin Falls ID this summer, and took my road bike. Amazing riding, never had a problem with cars, lots and lots of free space.

Where is Ketchum located?

Hey Welcome to the forums.
I lived in Boise for 3 1/2 years back in '90. and I have to say I started my Biking endeavors there. I bought my first Mtn Bike in Boise. and Got introduced to trail riding. The best thing about Idaho is all the Outdoor stuff to do, Hiking,Fishing,Biking,Sking, and White water Rafting just to name a few. The Scenery out ther is just awesome.
Looking forward to seeing your posts.

Idaho???? Welcome! I'm close to Idaho (Spokane) and went to the University of Idaho some years back......also lived in Grangeville (stop laughing) for Jr. High and most of my high school years. Don't be ashamed of Idaho - just tell people it's out by Montana somewhere!

Howdy! I got my Geology Degree from Idaho State and used to ski Sun Valley all the time. Although I live in the Ventura area of California, I have property in Anaconda MT and drive up via hwy 93 every year. We do some road work but mostly mtb. Nice area you live in.
