losing patience
I keep telling myself I'm done with these forums. Everytime I am staring at the eternal hourglass wondering if the pearls of wisdom I just bothered to type will dissapear without benefitting anyone. Will I have the perseverance to type them again tomorrow after the whole malady is mysteriously cured?
Edit: It's a persistent intermittent problem. Either viewing or posting.

timing or some other issue
Normally I am number6
As of yesterday that went away, I tried to log on, no go.
Advised wrong password.
Tried to reset password, no email reply.
Tried to reset password today, got the email, advising me when I went to the provided emailed link that what I had done minutes before had timed out, over 24 hours old.
Double checked clock/date/time on my cpu, all accurate.
Tried reset again, same loop.
So, tried to register as new user to attempt communication, that appears successful, but another identifier was required.
How to correct?
repechage, aka number6

Number6-
Odd. I checked, and I see your account. I did go ahead and send you an email with your password to the number6 email account you provided.
I am heading off to bed, but if this does not work, can you send a PM to Maelstrom? He should still be up and about for a bit.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Hang in there everyone!

I spent about 15 minutes composing a long reply to a question in the mechanics forum today. Guess what? I was unable to post it and I lost it all. I wish it was the first time that ever happened. Unfortunately it happens far too often. I really don't even feel like replying to anything that involves anything longer than two sentences.

Portis - I've started doing a Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C before hitting the post reply button. What this does is highlight all of the text in the Message Box, and then copies it into the 'clipboard' (if you're using windows of course). If I have a failed post attempt, then I just go back into the thread and paste the post back into the message box and try again. It takes about 1sec extra per post and saves some frustration when things are acting up. I understand it's frustrating, but anyone who's worked on computer systems of any size knows that these things do happen, and eliminating them once and for all is all but impossible a lot of times.
