I found myself in need of a new commuter, so I test rode some bikes and found the Karate Monkey to my liking. As we speak, tons of bits are on the way to my LBS, but for now a little Monkey porn:

Dude, let's get the low down on that awesome frame! Does the wavey design of the chain stay server as a passive shock absorber? How much does it weight? Price range you paid! When you'll have it ready etc! More details please (drool)

That is a good idea. I forgot all about that, it is my first build.
Extra tip: Carry two stubby 15mm wrenches (I got mine at Sears) and tire fixes won't be too much trouble. Practice removing the rear wheel at home in good light a few times so it won't be a pain when out on the road.
I hope you enjoy it. I'm liking mine so far.

I've been using a commuter pannier on one of these racks on my monkey, which makes chainstay length unimportant to heel strike:
