Finally winner after many attempts
After Keith99's interesting thread on "Winners on their first try in the Tour",
https://www.bikeforums.net/professional-cycling-fans/202090-winners-their-first-try.html
does anyone of you know a rider, who had the most participations in the Tour before actually winning it the first time?
I have detected one, would like to see your feedback.

I'm sure there are some more in the 5-7 range.
There is not anyone else who is later than their 12th try as I checked everyone with 13 or more participations.

Thank you. I was wondering if there had been anyone else than Zoetemelk.
