Kinda Bumed
This kinda sucks, my friend and I both had bought cheap bikes about 2 months ago and we planed on riding alot together.. well I got hooked spent some money and got a quality bike. Now my friend has completly craped out on me and left me running solo 
Just pisses me off alittle. So if there is anyone at all in the San Antonio area who would yah know take me in or that needs a ride partner then think of Brate riding that single track into the sunset solo looking for a friend.

Don't blame your friend just because he ain't all into it anymore. Those plans almost never work out. It's when they do that it becomes a story worth telling.

Look up a local club, eg, the San Antonio Wheelmen, https://www.sawheelmen.com/index.htm. According to the site, the club offers, among other kinds of rides, rides suitable for newbies, with experienced ride leaders.

Trust me I wont let this stop me from riding. Its way to fun and I havn't felt this good in a long time.
