bianchi project 7----what is it?

I have a bianchi project 7 it has rock shox on it and mountain bike tires. i am just getting into biking and this bie was given to me. However i want a road bike. i know that the pro 7 has 700 wheels onit can i put on a regular fork, road bike handlebars and new shifters to make it into a road bike?

It's not a good candidate for that.

Actually, this bike might be something of a collector's item...this was a "Twenty-Niner" mountain bike before the marketeers came up with the "Twenty-Niner" label. Bianchi USA was way ahead of its time, the market was not ready, and they lost their shirt on this project, because too few people understood what they were trying to do.

Offer it for sale as a "Twenty Niner" and you should get a decent price for it.

i am not sure, i measured it roughly( with a ruler) and it was about30 inches. I do want to sell it. go to craigslist/asheville to see a picture.

No bike is that large, you must have measured wrong. A 30 inch frame would be for someone 8 feet tall! ;-)
