How does one find out about cyclocross races?
A 10 minute internet search revealed that while there were many races in California in 2005, I could find none for 2007-07. At least as far as I can tell.
How do I find out about races in my area?

MrC, The Sacramento Bicycle Kithcen is having a CX Clinic in Sept just before the racing season starts. PM me or check our www.sacbikekitchen.org for more details. There should be many CX racers there.

Not sure, its our first. The folks teaching it came to us and wanted to use our space. I'm taking the class being a complete newbe to CX. Still building the bike. I'll report back as more info comes.

I was talking to a friend who rides cyclocross for the Lapierre-Ritchey team yesterday and, remembering this thread, asked him about the NorCal race schedule. He mentioned Pilarcitos (https://www.pilarcitos.com/BASPS.htm), Velo Bella (www.velobella.com) who are putting on the Surf City Series, and Yahoo! groups - bayareacyclocross as some places to get further info.
