Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Tufo Tubular Cinchers on 29'er MTB rims

Has anybody tried mounting a set of Tufo tubular cinchers on 29'er MTB rims?

Earlier this summer I got a good deal on a rear Bontrager Race Lite 29'er wheel for my 135mm spaced cross bike and am thinking of trying Tufo's this year. I've mounted WTB Crosswolf's on them and they seem fine, but when I mounted 23c road tires, the rim was definitely too wide for the tires (the rim width exceed that of the tire at its widest point). I'd rather not drop the cash only to find out that they don't mount well.

Thanks

Mike
