SEARCH feature BROKEN

When I try to search by title only, I get the following error message:

here seems to have been a problem with the Bike Forums database.
Please try again by clicking the Refresh button in your web browser.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, whom you can also contact if the problem persists.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

refreshing does not correct the problem. search by post does not return this error, however it seems to return irrelevant threads. this has been occuring for the last 3 days or so

- it seems to have been broken for some time (more than a few weeks)... i'd be interested in seeing it fixed as well...

- and title searching would seem to be faster and easier on system resources than full-text searching, so i'm not sure what's going on...

- oh well...

Probably an issue with the dynamic SQL building for the search query. Hopefully they'll get it fixed soon.

I think the search feature may have been disabled at one time as it was causing ugly server issues. Don't quote me on that though.

There is something else wrong with the search engine. Whenever I use a wildcard keyword, e.g. camel*, the following error message appears:

The search term you specified (camel*) is under the minimum word length (3) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer. If this term contains a wildcard, please make this term more specific.

Okay, I tried to be more specific searching for camelba* and got the same error message.

I have always used wildcard keywords and have never got a error message no matter what keywords I searched for.

Same here, can't search by title. Tried with 3 different browsers. For me its been that way since around the upgrade.
