Has anyone seen my gear indicator????

I know where it is. It's the last place I put it. I just can't remember where that was....

I bought a Dura Ace gear indicator that slides onto the shifter cable just left of the rear shifter. I have one on my Madone and find it to be pretty handy. I had planned to put the new one on Miss Lightweight.

This pm I moved the front shifters between the bikes so the shifters would match on each bike. I replaced the shifter cables, one of the brake cables and did some cable housing cleanup so the cables looked a little neater. I really like the cable cutters...they make a nice clean cut and leave the cable housing easy to thread cable through.

The last thing I had planned to do was install the gear indicator on the 5900 and I've looked for an hour and it just keeps running away from me. I was never very good at hide and seek anyway.....

at my height, I always leave things on top of something else: have lost many things left on top of the van then driven away, not remembering

the top of the refrigerator is safe since no one but me can see up there: go look on top of the fridge...

As my Dad always said to me, "Where did you lose it?"
And I said to him, "If I knew that it wouldn't be lost!"
