Single speed crank on Cannondale F300

I just bought and F300 and I want to put a single speed crank on the front... does anyone have a suggestion as what I can use or what would fit? I saw this as an idea..tell me what you think.
Thanks! https://www.blueskycycling.com/produc...P-Crankset.htm

Will you be setting the bike up as a singlespeed, or will you still have multiple gears in the back? I.e., why only a single up front?

Use you current crankset and remove the granny and big rings. If you are going to install a bash guard use the current ring bolts, if not get a set of bmx bolts (shorter).

Welcome to the dark side!
