Ksyrium SL Carbon Components

Hi

Not sure if this is the right forum for this question.

Our national bike organisation has banned the use of the SL & ES wheels for juniors as they have carbon in the hub and therefore come under the definition of a composite wheel.

I am trying to find out whether earlier versions of the SL had carbon in the hub and if not, which year the carbon was introduced.

I have the 2005 version of the Ksyrium SL's and they don't have carbon in the hubs.
