Yeah true, but I still haven't tried anything like Angeles Crest. Where I lived you couldn't find a climb longer than 2 miles. The Prelude is kind of like that, you want a decent climbing gear but at least they don't make you climb for 5-10 miles straight or anything.

as of right now im 90% for the prelude. im doing death valley the weekend before so it may take some serious politicking to get the lovely mrs scootcore to let me do both(im thinking of doing the planet ultra solvang 100 the weekend after the prelude as well...).

Yeah my wife either. I dont really smell, well maybe after I ride, but thats the smell of lust. lol
