Protecting bike from road grime on a trunk mount?
Looking for a way to protect my bike from road grime when mounted on car trunk mount. Don't care if it gets wet but I would like to avoid accumulating a lot of road grime when traveling on interstate in bad weather. Cover would need to be able to survive interstate speeds.
Anyone make such a cover?

When I travel long distance in bad weather, I usually just take a large plastic bag and some rubber bands and cover my saddle in order to give it extra protection from the elements.

Don't know if it will work for your application but I have used a large barbeque cover to give a bike some shelter from the elements.

Two large trash bags and a narrow 700c tube for a bunge cord.
Or..........
If you look on line you can probably find the thin light bicycle covers that snap together at the bottom. I bought one at a local store. Then just poke two holes for the rack arms. There are also stronger thicker bicycle covers that will do the same thing. Just Google " bicycle cover".
I think I have seen a high quality cover with holes for the rack already in them.

Ive got this cover:
https://bikejacket.com/features.htm
Its very durable and your bike zips up in there completely. There are a few holes covered with velcro flaps for putting kickstands through, and locking it up. Ive never tried it on a trunk mount though.

That Bike Jacket looks like what I am looking for. I want to be able to take trip with my bike and be able to unload and ride without tring to clean up the bike. Should be able to poke some holes for the bike rack. I don't care if it gets wet...just dont want it to get too filthy and need to be washed before I can ride it during a trip.
