Will know that every good rider gets their knee down! Just wondering, when your out and about on your bike do you/ or have you ever got your knee down?

believe he is talking about leaning the bike over while cornering. It's kind of bragging rights with the sport bike crowd to see how far they can lean their bikes over. That's why they have knee pads sewn into their leathers.

Okay, that is what I suspected. I have seen motorcycle racing before. I just didn't see a purpose for the post, so I thought I was missing something. I still don't see a purpose for the post.

I imagine one's pedal would scrape first and you'd go down hard long before one's knee came close.
I've got a charming little Harrison Ford-style scar on my chin from just such an incident.
