Road fairings do any good?

Has anybody used a plexiglass fairing on a road bike? I looked up the Zzipper brand (www.zzipper.com) on the net, and they have a complete lineup for roadbikes and bents. They say the fairings make you considerbly faster at speeds over 10 mph. Has anybody ever used one? Do they make one that will accommodate aero bars?
