hey just got a kryptonite ny chain with ev disc lock and it is the kind with the round key, does that mean it is worthless. I heard all that jazz about being able to pick it with ease. It appears to be brand new but could it be an outdated or recalled model? HELP.

my brother had two locks like that. He mailed them back to kryptonite, and they sent replacement flat key models.
