Just thought I'd post some new pics of my Long Haul Trucker. The first ones are of it when first built about 10 months ago. The rest are the new ones (today) and I got the panniers today as a gift from my g/f.

Schweet!

You took your cross levers off! I have them on mine. I like them. I have a 42cm model in the same color.

Pretty bike!

You know.. not to critisize at all, but next time you retape your bars, if you want you can route your der. cables all the way inside the bar tape, i think it's a cleaner look.

I really like that green/silver/tan combo. My similar-color trek is a butt-ugly dog in comparison, with it's stock black stem & seatpost and silly-looking compact geometry.

Great looking bike! What are those rear panniers/bags? I've been looking for some like those - are they self supporting?

Cheers!

I wasn't using th cross levers as much as i thought i would. so, i took'em off to give a little more room on the bars for other stuff.

I don't mind the criticism; I have thick armor. Thanks for the tip about the cables and bar tape. i'll be retaping soon, I crashed on a horribly contructed bike path RR crossing recently.

They are water resistant, close to water proof. You can't submerge them, but they are rain/road spray proof.

Yes, it is the 700 version. 56cm.

And what AllenG said about the panniers is true.
