I use my MTN Bike Shoes. Any pedal recommendations.

Crankbrothers, Time and Shimano all make nice pedals compatable with your shoes. I have liked my Crank Bros. pedals a whole bunch (the Candys might make a nice distance pedal) and there was nothing wrong with my old Shimano SPDs, either.

I've used Time Atac exclusively since I went cliipless, and I still like them enough to continue for now. They do provide quite a lot of float which can be useful for long distance comfort, but the brass cleats do tend to wear relatively rapidly compared with steel SPD cleats, both where the trap hook on and through contact with the ground while walking.

From: 6 miles inland from the coast of Sussex, in the South East of England

Bikes: Dale MT2000. Bianchi FS920 Kona Explosif. Giant TCR C. Boreas Ignis. Pinarello Fp Uno.

I just use the cheapest shimano pedal and never have any problem with them.I even have them on the road bike. The oldest pair are 5 years old now and are not showing any signs of wear whatsoever. When I realise that I used to spend double the cost of the shimano pedals on flatties that only used to last a year- I am pleasantly surprised.
