I hit a squirrel today...

So i was riding down a street i almost daily ride down when a squirrel comes zipping out from under a parked car to my right. I would have missed it, but it decided to turn around at which point my front wheel hits part of it. Then the squirrel jumps directly upwards and latches ONTO MY LEFT ARM. It then decides that it doesnt want to be there either, jumps down and continues its crossing of the street. I go on my slightly confused way.

Apparently no harm done except for a small scratch on my arm and i think its tail was ****ed up. Suppose it couldve been alot worse.

DUDE! That's super ironic, because today I came inches away from hitting a squirrel.. same deal, he crossed in front of me, then got freaked out and started zipping back and forth in front of me, until he finally took off... crazy ****.

****ing weird! Doing laps in the park today I almost ran over a chipmunk. I thought for sure I was gonna kill the little dude and at the last second we both swerved, missing each other by about two inches! Crazy rodents!

That is a much better scenario than hitting a fat girl.

They can be flat out lethal.

Hahaha! Good story.

A squirrel ran up my uncle's pants leg one day. I wasn't there, but da*n, I can only imagine!

F*uckin' squirrels.

I hit a squirrel once in central park. Little sum***** faked me out. I didn't think he was going to go for it, but then at the last second he went for it. Was kind of like running over a little pillow. Some lady saw it and screamed "OH MY GAWD, HE HIT THE SQUIRREL!!!!". He(or she), did a weird little flip and kept running. Hopefully it survived and was a little bit wiser from the experience.

I've heard that squirrel up the pants story before, and can never quite believe it.

Last week I almost hit a deer. On a downhill out in the country, I was sprinting and getting some spinning practice, and one jumped out of the woods. Yeah kinda scary.

I was really most suprised that it actually jumped up and grabbed onto my arm. I guess at least I can say i've touched a live squirrel?

This post reminds me of that Alanis Morrisette song that was so annoyingly popular in the mid 90's.

About six weeks ago I hit a possum on my bike... I'm just glad it wasn't an armadillo.

I think I've killed 2 squirrels and hopped over one rattle snake in the last 3 years. Sacto is a dangerous place sometimes.

Yes, in that both completely miss the point of what irony actually is.

This thread also reminds me that I have a picture of a pigeon that didn't move for the T in Boston...sliced right in half

Actually, it's a masterpiece of wit. Isn't it ironic to name a song "Ironic" about a bunch of things that aren't actually ironic?
