I'm in VT now... but I used to live on the west side of Canandaigua Lake, worked in Farmington (bike commute was wonderful!), shopped at Geneve Bicycle Center (Hi Jim!).

I still get back for work / fun every 2-3 months. Recently did the Highlander with a friend. Nice to revisit some beautiful country.

Bopple is great. I've only done it on my MTB.
I've ridden the roads around the lake, as well as in Naples.
Also MTB in Hi Tor (Naples), Stid Hill (from Dugway Rd.) Harriet Hollister, and a few times over at Dyer (sp?) Rd Park in Victor.

I used to live on Seneca Point Rd, near Monks Rd.
Good fun.
Commuting to and from Farmington up West Lake Rd. was great!

Bmike...I lived on Seneca Rd until earlier this year. I used to run / bike Boople & the hill on Seneca Pt all the time. Do you remember when Boople was a straight up dirt road rather than the nicely paved winding road? The locals used to call it Nanny Goat Hill...

I lived there in late 02 - late 04... if memory serves. Didn't remember the dirt. The gent I lived with would know though - he's a lifelong Canadiagua resident. He used to MTB and road cycle a fair bit too, in his youth. Now he is on his Kawasaki go fast thing...

It was dirt back in the late '60s / early '70s...moved away for awhile so I'm not sure when the all the development took place...
