Positivity overflow :-)

Autumn is in full swing here in Toronto. The leaves are changing colours. The air is crisp and cool but not too cold yet (except at night, when it gets quite chilly). Beautiful riding weather. For some reason it was this week especially that I was reminded just how much fun it is to ride a bike and...

... to pass long traffic jams... or should I say "car jams 'cause I'm traffic too and I'm movin'!

... to anticipate dumb moves by drivers and laugh when they do dumb things for which you're prepared.

... to smile and wave a "Thank you" to courteous drivers who slow down so you can change lanes and do your left turn.

... to ride along a tiny residential street and stop to play with a kitty who's out chasing bugs.

... to talk with strangers about what a fine day it is to be riding.

... to go through a park and admire all the beautiful dogs frolicking around.

... to go through same park and see all the cute little kids on trikes (go slowly around them, fingers on brake levers ).

... to arrive at your destination out of breath, dripping with sweat and HAPPY.

---------------------------------------

And I taught someone how to ride a bike today! Luckily for me she was an extremely talented student and picked it up in a jiffy. Now she can have all this fun too!

So go out there and ride, peoples! It's so damn much FUN!
