Looking for translation / online training diary

I am currently translating an online training diary / analysis web-app (especially for cyclists) to english.
Among lots of other things the user can enter the type of training he performed (e.g. regeneration, intervals, endurance)
Which other types should be available? Are there specific terms for the different levels of training?
Thanks
Thomas

i'm still a novice, but i know a little bit--
there's base work (moderate off-season cycling you do to get ready for harder stuff closer to the season);
cross-training (also usually in the off-season, i think: it just means doing something other than cycling, e.g. running, swimming, etc..);
weight-lifting (obvious);
also, i think a lot of people commute by bike as well as do race-specific training.

I dunno, that's all I got. Hope that helps!

Hi Sean - thanks for your answer.
To explain it better:
The user can select from a variety of different activities (cycling, running, swimming, athletics...)

What I need are the specific terms regarding the level of the training - the activity could e.g. be
- interval training
- competition
- regeneration
...

What other terms are used to describe the level of activity?
Thanks
Thomas

You may want to add to your list: Hills, Tempo, Sprints. There may be others. See if you can get your hands on a book on training for cyclists.

Ok, I think I've got it - does it make sense to you like this?
(see screenshot)
Thanks
