Joe

I dont know if this is possible and dont even know if it is anything you would or can do. I felt I would give it a shot.

There are many threads being started about the war. I will admit I start plenty of them in the "political forum". On one thread I started there was a member that felt for some reason it should be in the "news & current events" forum. I made a little stab at the French in the thread and felt it wouldnt be proper to have posted it where other members against the "political" forum would read it. To be honest I had never even looked in the "news & current events" forum so I took a look at it. I felt and still feel it shouldnt have been in that forum.

Is there a chance to have a "Operation Iraqi Freedom" forum? I dont know if it is something that can be linked with the "political" forum so the same people would have access. If you take a look most of the threads in the "political" forum have something to do with this subject. If it cant be done there is no big deal. I can understand the time it takes to run this and I'm sure you arent looking for more work. I just dont want to intrude in the "political" forum and I sure dont want to cause trouble in the "News & Current Events" forum.

Now there are other forums that deal with this subject and I dont have any problem using them.

Thanks

I appologize for the short reply in advance, i only have a few minutes...

I am actualy thinking of renaming the political discussions forum to "Politics, Religion and World Events" that should take care of the range of topics.

Thats a great idea Joe. Thanks for the reply.

I would caution you on the "religion" part. It gets a little serious on politics but religion can really get out of hand....

I wanted to clear up what I was saying. I have no problem with talking about religion. It is a subject that really runs deep and feeling can get hurt. Remember as we all know "wars" have started over that subject.

Joe, maybe, politics, spiritual philosophy and world event s forum. I agree with giantbikes that religion may open up a horrific pandora's box.

Joe you gotta give up that day job. Bill Gates interfers with BF too often.

I don't have a problem with a religion forum. Just make sure that everyone understands the rules - NO SLAMMING OF ANOTHER RELIGION, DON'T PASS JUDGEMENT ON OTHER MEMBERS BECAUSE OF HIS/HER BELIEFS, BE FACTUAL, ETC.
