Royal Enfield Compact 2000

Does anyone know anything about this bicycle? I just aquired one but know nothing about it. I've seen some information about Royal Enfield being an arms and motorcycle manufacturer, but very little about its bicycles. What are their bicycles known for? Also, does anyone know where I can find more information about the Compact 2000 in particular? I would like to see if I can upgrade some of its components. Thanks.

I'm totally smitten. I doubt I'll ever find one, but I'm certainly going to try. The design is brilliant.
If I ever build a custom minibike, I'll steal from it like a CEO raiding a pension fund.

Not really a folder, but very nice. Probably relatively rare in the UK, chances of finding one in the states is small, but ya never know...

The RE Revelation is very rare in the UK. When I go to car-boot sales, I always keep an eye out for one...
