Sunday/Monday Down Under...

here are a few pics from Sundays ride (well Sunday's SAG (visiting parents) was different to Saturdays (sister and friends) and far less interested in me and more so in the trees!!!) as well as tonights (Monday) sunset from my place. Was going to call you all up and invite you ova for a few drinks on the front porch while this event took place but i realised you would probably wouldnt make it ova in time so i took some pics of it for you to enjoy...

Do you live in the Melbourne area? When I was in OZ some years back on a rockclimbing trip, I was amazed by the topography/flora/fauna of the area. It was beautiful for sure. I also saw more road kill then I have ever seen before. No wonder you guys all drive with bullbars.

nice pics too

So, Danny Boy, what are your summer riding plans? Are you fully recovered?

As you may know, winters around here are pretty mild. So, no real big changes. Just ride a bit each day. The only thing I really do differently in the winter is if I manage a tour, it wil be in motels. I don't care to setup a tent in a rain puddle.

I think there was a collection started to get you to Hawaii. I think we can bump that up to California.

I may just pay for his plane ticket to CA...just trying to be charitable.
Dan, love the photos, keep them coming. Melbourne is stunning. By the way, have you ever encountered a "hatch back" spider?

You know what I found interesting when I was in Melbourne, a round trip ticket from Melbourne to Los Angeles was 1/2 the price as a round trip from Los Angeles to Melbourne. Same airline (Qantas)

Why thank you. You know, I changed my avatar to say "Hills Don't scare me." So, I thought that going with that theme, I'd just point out that if it's large enough... You know? The hill.
