New Member, Need Bike Recommendations
I am looking for a good quality steel frame hardtail/ good componets bike in the $500 to $700 price range. I have been looking at the Marin Bear Valley, but need to know what other bikes are in this category or are comparable to it.
Thanks,
Chris S

Chris,
I would look at Specialized, Trek, GT, Kona, and if you want a real high quality frame, with better componentry than you will find in that range for the same money click here. I have reduced the price on it to $700. Go to the bottom of the page. https://mtbdogs.homestead.com/sale.html

Hunter - have you tried posting your bike on the MTBR.com classifieds? I would think you would be able to sell a nice Breezer like that rather quick.

Rider X and Rich,
Yeah it is a shame, and yes I have put it up there 3 times! I want to get a Rocky Mountain Blizzard, and the sale of the Breezer will finance it. If not then I will have a "classic." It mainly just sits in the shop room and collects dust. I pull it out every once in a while and ride it, but that is all. The KHS takes all the brunt of off road work. the reezer was purchased to preserve a one of a kind machine. I am just having a hard time believing that no one really wants it.

Dang that Breezer is sweet. I didn't catch the frame size on that though?
Homer I picked up by Kona Lava Dome in that price range about 7 years ago. Been very pleased with it, used for everything from commuting to racing. Don't overlook that breezer though...

It is an 18" frame measured from center to top.
