Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Merry Christmas gents and ladies!

I just wanted to wish you all a merry Christmas. You all are an endless source of information and entertainment, and there's no place that I'd rather talk shop. Here's to you all amassing more bike paraphenalia and riding the **** out of it.

Have a lovely holiday,

-Stephen (sers)

You know when you see a news article titled "Track Santa", and you automatically click it thinking it's a story about fixed gear bicycles, you have a serious problem.

Hello, my name is James E. Barron III, and I am addicted to track bikes.

Apparently some nonsense about GPS and the internet. I stopped scanning as soon as I realized it had nothing whatsoever to do with bicycles.

besides feelign that you are forcing your religion/consumerism on me with this thread...

happy holidays everyone!

is there a thread for all the cool stuff we got for x-mas? im gettin booties and i already grabbed the new nylon straps and made myself some doulbe-strap clips! i cant wait til its super cold so i need my booties to keep my toes warm...then one of the nylon straps on my right foot breaks during the ultimate emergency skid only to be saved by the backup strap! then i will truly understand the meaning of x-mas!
